Vegetable Beef Soup

I found the base to this recipe in a Taste of Home magazine years ago. It was called Spicy Potato Soup, but after adding green beans, corn, or carrots, I switched it over to Vegetable Beef Soup. The “spicy” comes from adding 1 tsp. of hot pepper, but I don’t use that anymore when I cook the vegetable soup.
